Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival
On arrival Tangaza Tours representative meets you at Entebbe International Air Port and transfer you to Kampala for your dinner and overnight at accommodation of your choice (budget or Luxury)
Day 02: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, your guide from Tangaza Tours will meet you at the Hotel and set off for South Western Uganda. On the way, make a stop at Mpambire and see the skill of the makers the Royal Drums, make a brief stop at the Equator and stand in both hemispheres; a coffee break would be appropriate. Proceed to Mbarara. Have lunch at Agip motel and continue through the lush hills and the tea estates of Bunyaruguru to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will enjoy the game drive as you enter the park before sunset. Dinner and over night at accommodation of your choice (budget or Luxury)
Day 03: Game drive/Kazinga Channel
After a cup of Coffee, you will go for the early morning game drive along Kasenyi and the Queen’s Mile tracks in the park. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffalo, warthogs, leopard, spotted hyena, and various other small animals and birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax at the swimming pool. After lunch board the boat for the cruise along Kazinga Channel, a good experience for bird watchers, and for observing crocodiles, hippos and elephants at close range. Return to the Lodge for Dinner and over night. F/B
Day 04: Tree climbing lions
After breakfast enjoy the Game drive as you leave Queen Elizabeth National park for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a game drive in Ishasha in search of the tree- climbing lions; watching the lion as they rest on top of the trees is an awe-inspiring sight! Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable forest in time for dinner and a night at accommodation of your choice (budget or Luxury)
Day 05: Gorilla tracking in uganda
After an early breakfast you will drive to the Park Headquarters for briefing, and thereafter you will start tracking gorillas at 8:00 am.Gorilla Tracking is a demanding but rewarding experience. You will depart with lunch boxes, drinking water and remember to bring jungle boots with you.
This park is covered in dense vegetation and rugged hills which will demand physically fitness. The time taken to reach the Gorillas varies according to their movements. The thrill of spending time with and observing the uganda gorillas is an awesome and exciting adventure offered by Tangaza Tours. After tracking the guide will drive you to Lake Bunyonyi. A sumptuous dinner and a comfortable night ataccommodation of your choice (budget or Luxury)
Day 06: Lake Bunyonyi Tour
With parked lunch; an early one-hour boat ride to Nyombe Swamp will yield gratifying results for the keen birdwatcher. Cruise around this serene and beautiful lake, the third deepest in the world, and explore life on its more than 20 islands, many of them with interesting legends. Visit the Batwa (pygmies), the Bahesi (traditional blacksmiths), the caves, or let our tour guide lead you on an interesting and challenging hike up the steep hills surrounding this scenic lake. Spend the evening by a campfire, watch traditional dancers as you dine. Dinner and over night at accommodation of your choice (budget or Luxury)
Day 07: Lake Bunyonyi- Lake Mburo
After breakfast, you will depart to kabale town and visit the Bakiga Museum, and thereafter drive to Lake Mburo National Park.
Lake Mburo National Park has markedly different fauna to other Parks and reserves, and it is the best place in the country to see the gigantic eland antelope, as well as Zebra, Topi, impala, and several acacia -associated birds. The lakes within the park attract hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds. Have an evening game drive. Dinner and over night accommodation of your choice (budget or Luxury)
Day 08: Depart:
After break fast, enjoy a morning game drive and thereafter depart for Kampala after lunch.
